For too many Tanzanian patients, the gap between emergency and care is filled with nothing

When a medical emergency strikes in Tanzania, there is no system to call - no coordinated response or guarantee a trained provider is coming.

A Coordinated Dispatch System

The Northern Tanzania Emergency Communications Center is live. For the first time, there is a single number to call for emergency medical help across the Arusha region — staffed around the clock by trained dispatchers, tracking every ambulance in real time, and connecting callers with live medical consultation when they need it most.

Call 0800-750-392 — toll free, 24/7

A Model Ambulance Service

TZEMS is deploying a fully equipped ALS ambulance service in partnership with SQF Health. The paramedics who will staff it are trained, credentialed, and ready. What they need is the equipment to be cut loose to care for their community. That's what we're providing.

EMS Headquarters & Healthcare Simulation and Training Center

We will establish a permanent headquarters in Arusha, featuring a centralized dispatch center, Tanzania’s first medical simulation lab, and dedicated classrooms for ongoing training and certification. This facility will serve as the operational and educational hub for EMS in northern Tanzania.

Designed for both impact and sustainability, the center will generate long-term revenue through hosted training, simulation courses, and regional partnerships—ensuring that the EMS system we build today continues to grow and evolve for generations to come.
